HELIX Environmental Development Co., Ltd. is a business company established with the aim of connecting research findings to social implementation for highly challenging issues in the environmental, resource, and industrial fields, with a core technology of "generating plasma from water." Its main target areas include dealing with organofluorine compounds such as PFAS, applying technology to difficult-to-treat waste, and improving exhaust gas treatment and detoxification processes in the semiconductor field, and it provides consistent support from PoC design and demonstration to implementation consideration.
Rather than simply providing equipment, we place importance on sharing and organizing with all parties involved information such as the properties of the target material, site conditions, legal and safety requirements, connectivity with existing facilities, and operational systems, and working together to design a process that will work on-site. Rather than simply emphasizing the novelty of the technology, we have a basic policy of balancing implementability and accountability, and we work as partners to build feasible options for users, treatment operators, and affiliated companies, while respecting the existing treatment infrastructure and the knowledge of operators.
Furthermore, HELIX Environmental Development does not view water plasma as merely a "detoxification technology," but as a fundamental technology with the potential for development as a reaction field technology. In addition to processing and decomposition, we are also working on technological design with an eye toward resource recycling and distributed processing, and are building an implementation platform that connects research, demonstration, and commercialization.
