I myself am from an area in Shikoku where a nuclear power plant is located, so I have felt the environmental and energy challenges firsthand. In addition, while working in the environmental field, I have seen many on-site difficulties where technological potential alone does not lead to progress in social implementation. This is why I believe it is meaningful for our business to take on the role of "implementation," connecting technology and the field.
HELIX Environmental Development Co., Ltd. is a business company that uses its core technology of "generating plasma from water" to tackle highly difficult areas such as organic fluorine compounds such as PFAS, difficult-to-treat waste, and exhaust gas treatment and detoxification in the semiconductor field. Rather than unilaterally applying our own technology, we want to be a partner that works together to build feasible options by sharing on-site information with our clients, treatment operators, and affiliated companies.
Furthermore, water plasma is not just a detoxification technology, but also a fundamental technology with the potential to be developed as a reaction field technology. HELIX Environmental Development Co., Ltd. is a business company established with the aim of connecting research findings to social implementation for highly challenging issues in the environmental, resource, and industrial fields, with a core technology of "generating plasma from water." Its main target areas include dealing with organofluorine compounds such as PFAS, applying technology to difficult-to-treat waste, and improving exhaust gas treatment and detoxification processes in the semiconductor field, and it provides consistent support from PoC design and demonstration to implementation consideration.
Rather than simply providing equipment, we place importance on sharing and organizing with all parties involved information such as the properties of the target material, site conditions, legal and safety requirements, connectivity with existing facilities, and operational systems, and working together to design a process that will work on-site. Rather than simply emphasizing the novelty of the technology, we have a basic policy of balancing implementability and accountability, and we work as partners to build feasible options for users, treatment operators, and affiliated companies, while respecting the existing treatment infrastructure and the knowledge of operators.
Furthermore, HELIX Environmental Development does not view water plasma as merely a "detoxification technology," but as a fundamental technology with the potential for development as a reaction field technology. In addition to processing and decomposition, we are also working on technological design with an eye toward resource recycling and distributed processing, and are building an implementation platform that connects research, demonstration, and commercialization.
